Analytics Information
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve its reliability and performance. Firebase may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Device details — device model, operating system version, mobile network information, and device identifiers
- Usage information — screens viewed, features accessed, session length, app launches, button interactions, and in-app navigation patterns
- Crash reports — technical data related to errors or application crashes
- Performance data — launch times, responsiveness metrics, energy usage indicators, and related diagnostics
This data helps us monitor stability and improve the App. It is never used for advertising.
Local Device Data
Certain information is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. This includes:
- Qur’an task progress and history
- Selected apps configured for restriction
- Daily reading schedules and preferences
- Streak tracking and reading statistics
- Blocking activity history and related usage patterns
We do not access, collect, or transmit this data. It remains entirely on your device.

Data Sharing
Third-Party Service Providers
We use Firebase Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to process analytics data. Firebase handles data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Firebase may process aggregated and de-identified analytics information to provide analytics services. This data is not used to personally identify you.
Screen Time Functionality
Information about which apps you choose to restrict, when restrictions apply, and related device usage activity is not collected or transmitted by us. This information remains on your device. Yuftah uses Apple's Screen Time APIs solely to enable app restriction and unlocking functionality — these permissions are not used for tracking or analytics.
Legal Disclosure
We may disclose information if required by law or in response to lawful requests by public authorities.
Data Retention
- Analytics data — retained by Firebase according to their retention policies (typically 2–14 months)
- Local device data — remains on your device until the App is deleted or its data is cleared

Children's Privacy
The App may be used by individuals under 13 under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Analytics information collected is technical in nature and is not linked to any individual's identity.
App Permissions (iOS)
Yuftah requires the following permission:
- Screen Time API — used to apply and remove app restrictions configured within the App. This permission exists solely to deliver the core functionality of Yuftah.
This permission does not transmit app usage information to our servers. All restriction activity occurs locally on your device.
Data Security
We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect information processed through the App. However, no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and publish the updated policy within the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
